As the Interlake Filipino Community continues to grow, 2026 marks an exciting and meaningful year for us. With a clear plan, strong values, and a shared commitment to cultural pride and transparency, we are preparing a full year of events that bring our community together, celebrate Filipino heritage, and support long-term sustainability.

Our Vision for 2026

Our 2026 plan focuses on five core goals:

• Strengthening Filipino cultural presence in the Interlake region

• Supporting youth, families, and seniors through inclusive activities

• Hosting well-planned, volunteer-friendly events

• Ensuring financial responsibility and transparency

• Working toward full non-profit registration

Every event is designed with care—no activity will operate at a loss, and all funds raised will directly support community programs and celebrations.

Signature Community Events

• Dinner for a Cause Gala (May)

  Our anchor fundraiser of the year—an elegant evening featuring Filipino music, performances, and community recognition.

• Meal for a Cause (June)

  A pre-order Filipino food fundraiser that brings people together through culture and cuisine.

• Street Fest & Culturama (August)

  Cultural performances, parade participation, and a Filipino food showcase for the wider community.

• Year-End Party & Community Awards (December)

  A celebration of achievements, seniors recognition, and shared milestones.

• Christmas Caroling Fundraiser (December)

  A heartfelt tradition spreading joy while raising modest community funds.

Ongoing Fundraising & Support

• Three 50/50 & Raffle Draws throughout the year

• Membership dues to support basic operations
